1) How do I get to Samonas?
a) From Chania airport follow the route: Airport - Souda
- Megala Horafia - Styos - Samonas.
More specific: 7 km from the airport you turn left
to Souda. Then enter the high way with direction to
Rethymnon. A few kilometers after, follow the exit
to Megala Horafia and go straight ahead to the village
of Stylos. At the end of Stylos village, the road is
separated. You have to follow the right acclivitous
one. After 5 km you will reach Samonas village. Our
traditional houses are on your left hand, after the
first couple of residences.
b) From Heraklion airport follow the route: Airport
- Rethymnon - Kalyves - Stylos - Samonas.
More specific: From Heraklion - Rethymnon head to
Chania. A few kilometers after Souda, on your left,
you will see the seaside settlement of Kalyves. From
the high way follow the exit to Kalyves and then to
the villages of Armenoi - Neo Horio - Stylos. At the
entrance of Stylos, turn left and follow the narrow
acclivitous road to Samonas (5 km). Our traditional
houses are on your left hand, after the first couple
of residences. |
2) Are there any taverns and shops in the village?
Yes, just 100m from our traditional houses is the famous
Aetofolia tavern. In Aetofolia, except the traditional
Cretan cuisine, you will have the chance to enjoy the
magnificent view and the Cretan hospitality. Here,
you can also enjoy daily from 8 to 11 a rich breakfast
with local products.
At Stylos (5 km), Neo Horio (7km), Armenoi (10km)
and Kalyves (13km) villages, you will find many taverns,
shops and a super market.
And don't forget that here at our houses, we have
created a small traditional cafe, where you can get
coffees, soft drinks, beverages, sweets and many
other products. For all these you only have to pay
their cost so that we can replenish them for the
next guests.

3) How can I confirm my reservation?
Your reservation can be confirmed through one of associate
travel agencies, or directly to us.
You can also use our online booking system in our
website, checking in the same time any offers and extras
we might offer.
If you want to contact us, you can fill the contact
form and get the information needed.
In order to confirm your reservation, a 25% of the
total reservation cost is required. |
4) How can I pay?
You can pay with your credit card VISA or MASTERCARD,
or by making a deposit at our bank account or by cash
or a combination of all the above.
For the amount you will pay by deposit or by cash,
you get a 5% discount as long as your reservation
has been done directly to us and not through a tourist
office or another website. |
5) What is your reservation policy?
No fee is charged for cancellation prior to 22 days before
confirmed arrival date.
Any cancellation notice made within 21 to 15 days prior
to arrival applies 25% of the total cost.
Any cancellation notice made 14 days to 8 days prior
to arrival applies 50% of the total cost.
Any cancellation notice made 7 days to 1 day prior to
arrival applies 75% of the total cost.
Non show, or departure prior to the scheduled date, results
100% charge of the total stay. |
