It has oval piliferous leaves and flowers with rosy or iodine colour. We use the entire plant except for the root, when flowering. It has antibronchial, antiasthmatic, antiarthritis, anti-diarrheal and anaesthetic attributes. It also helps with rheumatism and is often used, due to its intense smell, as a repellent for various insects, fleas and parasites.
