The Ultimate Week Vacation

A week in February was definitely off season, as we had Samonas to ourselves. The views from the top floor were amazing, roast chicken on the outdoor BBQ pit was delicious, and the hikes around Crete were gorgeous (and not crowded). We loved coming back to our suite in the evening, to have supper in our cozy suite with an evening fire. Constantinos was an amazing host- surpased our expectations with the most incredible breakfast (You MUST include at least 1 breakfast in your stay-otherwise you have cheated yourselves of the tastest local fare!!). We arrived late in the evening in the dark, Constantinos greeted us with wine and small bites so that we did not have to leave to find dinner. Throughout the week he surprised us with little treats- avacados or oranges left at our door. Constantinos we admire your hard work to restore this beautiful location-THANK YOU.
